“ “Laughter, song, and dance create emotional and spiritual connection; and they remind us of the one thing that truly matters when we are searching for comfort, celebration, inspiration, or healing—we are not alone.” ”
Clair Anderson, Operations Manager/Instructor
Clair earned her BA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2001. She first began leaping and shuffling in 1989 at the J&L Dance Academy in Anoka. Clair began teaching at Dance Factory in 2003. Before coming to the Dance Factory Clair taught various workshops around the state, was a captian and choreographer on the Elk River HS Dance Team, and worked on a Sesame Street Live production dancing the role of Baby Bear. At the studio, Clair is the Operations Manager, istructor, and choreographer. Clair loves having fun and passing dance knowledge on to every dancer that walks into one of her classes.
On a personal note, Clair and her husband Derek stay busy and happy with their two daughters, Violet and Ruby, both now proud Dance Factory dancers! She is also beginning a new journey as a graduate student at St. Mary's University in their Master's in Family Therapy program. During the summer months you can find her teaching private lessons, vacationing with family and finishing up with MANY trips to our great State Fair!
