Emily Broeker, Instructor

Emily Broeker graduated with her B.A. in dance from the University of Minnesota, where she studied under Carl Flink, Penelope Freeh, Karla Grotting, Paula Mann, Toni Pierce Sands, Joanie Smith,  Linda Talcott Lee, Erin Thompson, and Tina Wallum. She has been teaching dance in the Twin Cities area for five years. Locally, she has had the pleasure of working with companies such as Buckets And Tap Shoes, Eclectic Edge Ensemble, and Flying Foot Forum. She has also performed in work by Kenna Cottman, Karla Grotting, Judith James Ries, Erinn Liebhard, Kaleena Miller, and Cathy Wind. She continues her training by attending dance intensives for young professionals, having most recently completed Nicholas Young's Institute For the Rhythmic Arts in Chicago, IL. As a choreographer, she has twice had her work featured in Rhythmically Speaking, and annual production at the Southern Theater. She loves to share her passion for dance with her students!
