1/9/2023 Competition and Performing Line Updates

Hello parents!

I hope you had a great weekend!! We are getting really close to our season! Now is the time where your dancer should have all of their choreography memorized. Our teachers will be reaching out to parents if we feel your dancer needs some extra help or focused practice time at home to get the choreography down. This is the time in the season where we start cleaning and perfecting routines! Thank you for your help in reminding your dancer to practice at home!

Innovate Dance Event - is just 4 weeks away! The event is mandatory for all teams except for Mini Team, and is included in your balanced billing. Group day will be SUNDAY, 1/29. If you signed up for the optional solo/duet/trio night, you will be billed on 1/15. The schedule will come out by 1/20, but plan around 4-9:30PM at Hopkins High School.

Everyone needs to sign the WAIVER, please print, sign, and bring to the front desk. We will have blank copies there as well.

Trophies- If you have not picked up your 2022 trophy, please do so over the next 2 weeks. We will be putting the boxes away after that until the spring recital!

Feed My Starving Children volunteer opportunity - If you would like to give back, and participate with DF doing something fun and meaningful, join us on 2/10 at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids. These hours will count towards your NHSDA (Honor Society) hours.  Go to the fmsc.org and find our event to sign up!

Dress Rehearsal (all teams) - 2/4-5 at Stillwater Middle School. Schedule will come out around the 3rd week of January.

Spring Recital - this year we will be at NORTH BRANCH HIGH SCHOOL! More info to come.

Competition Kick off party! - Saturday, 1/21 6PM-11PM at the studio! We are excited to be bringing back a version of the sleepover! All of the fun stuff, just minus the sleeping over part:) We will eat pizza and snacks, play games, do our dances, and more! Cost is $20 to attend. Sign up HERE

Summer Camp at DF - we are super excited to be hosting a full 8 week summer camp at DF. This is open to the community. Crafts, games, movies, sports, movement, field trips! If you are interested, fill out THIS form. Open to children entering K-5th grade.

We also need teens ages 15-up to be assistant camp counselors! Hours are 7:45AM-4:15PM M-Th. Sign up HERE if you are interested in working.
