Hello parents,
I hope you had a great weekend!
Recital Reveal was so much fun!!
On to the Holiday Show! -Attached is holiday show information, including which show everyone is dancing in.
HERE are the show times per class
HERE is the show information
Boo Bash details -Boo Bash is coming up!!! We are so excited for our first big community event! Thank you for your help in making this a huge success.
*Candy - I am estimating about 200 kids coming to the event. Right now we have about 110 signed up, but many will come without signing up. So each trunk should have enough for this many kids.
*Volunteers in rooms (Teens, Juniors, Seniors, Company students) - We need help running the games, pumpkin decorating, glow party, and spooky house! Dancers can sign up in 30 min increments. This time can be used as volunteer hours for NHSDA or NHS. Sign up below!
*Map of event - I am attaching the map of the event so you can see where each car needs to be parked behind the studio. Attachment: 1.jpg (175.4kB)
This is a brand new event for us, so if I have forgotten anything, let me know!!
Crewnecks- Our super soft, cute new DF crewnecks are available in the store! 2XL and 3XL sizes available 11/1!
In10sity media fee - . If you are signing up for In10sity extra competition, there is a $30 media fee for the first child, $20 second child, $10 3rd. FYI!
Extra competitions for solos/duets/trios:
HERE is the link to sign up for the extra competitions. We have 3 extra competition opportunities in 2023. Deadline to sign up is 10/20.
There are a couple of changes to note:
*there will be a mandatory $25 administrative fee added for each person per extra competition. We have SO many kids doing the extra comps now, so in order to fully staff them, we need to charge this fee. Next year this will go up to per routine, but this year it will be per person.
*Some of the competitions we go to are charging mandatory media fees of $30-40 per family for photos/videos. We do not have the info from In10sity or Starpower, but Celebration DOES NOT charge one. I will let you know once we get the info from the other 2 comps if they charge one.
Guest teachers and cancellation policy- I am loving seeing the enthusiasm for our guest teacher days! They are full so far! I am actively working on getting more dates in place, stay tuned.
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will still be charged for the lesson.
Boo bash volunteer in room sign up - I am so excited about everyone's enthusiasm for Boo Bash!!! It's going to be an awesome event! I do need some older kids (6th grade and up) to volunteer to help in the rooms (games, spooky house, pumpkin decorating, glow dance). This can be done in 30 minute shifts. You would just need to temporarily leave your trunk to do this. This will count for NHSDA volunteer hours!
