7-25-2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates!

We are in our last week of summer classes! If your dancer would like to drop into a class to try it out, let me know! Our drop in rate is $15/class.

Great opportunity on 7/28! - Tyler Heath, creator of the FlexAbility program and head of training for our new Dance Cirque circus program, is coming in town from Australia on 7/28 to meet the DF staff and teach some classes!! I'm so pumped about this! He is CRAZY talented and specializes in Acro and Contemporary. He will be teaching acro privates, an acro class, and 2 contemporary classes. 

Tyler's bio:

Australian made Tyler Heath the founder of ADA, Lead educator of Injury prevention alliance and head of training for Dance Cirque. Tyler specializes in keeping athletes and coaches safe, effective and fun. Delivering some of the worlds most trusted programs. With a very strong dance background specializing in dance acro and contemporary, Tyler spent his early career traveling the world working with companies such as Cirque Du Soleil, International Ballet Theatre, Carnival and Acrobatic Arts. Tyler now calls Sydney, Australia home again and is the Head of training for Dance Cirque, the worlds first and largest curriculum for safe Circus in dance schools. Whilst maintaining the role as lead educator for the injury prevention alliance keeping athletes and performers injury free. Tyler still choreographs and teaches internationally, wether on zoom or in studio setting. Tyler is known for his vibrant, fun and educational approach to up-skilling both teachers and aspiring young professionals.

Cost: $100/hour for privates (can share with up to 3 total dancers)

$25/dancer for class

FlexAbility class- I hope your dancer is enjoying the FlexAbility class. If they would like to continue, we will be offering it in the fall as well. We will have that schedule to you after auditions.

Audition Camp schedule - we are getting so excited for camp!!! Camp is T-Th 8/9-11. Auditions are on 8/12, times for that day coming soon!

Camp attire is fitted clothing, preferably leotard/sports bra/tank top and leggings, tights, or booty shorts. Hair pulled back neatly. Bring all shoes (tap, ballet, jazz or lyrical). The store is open this week if you need to get shoes.

Bring a water bottle and snacks/meal.

Nutcracker - it's back!!! We will be hosting auditions for the 2022 Nutcracker at the Orpheum. Audition dates are 8/31-9/2. SIGN UP HERE
