Trainee day -10/8 9-11AM! - We know so many of you want extra lessons this year. This is a great way to get some extra studio time! Support our high school trainees while getting extra solo/duet/trio or technique practice! Sign up HERE
Private lesson packages --There is about 5 weeks left to use the summer pre-paid private lessons. If you don't use them by 10/31, you will still be able to use them until the end of 2022. I realize it was hard for some to get a lot of time in over the summer.
Ballet dress code - remember, ballet shoes must match tights in class. We will give everyone some time as we transition into this new dress code.
National Honor Society for Dance Arts -If your dancer is in 6th-12th grade, they are eligible to be a part of the NHSDA. DF is a chapter of the program. Dancers earn points from assisting, performing, volunteering, and more to be eligible for the program. They also must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Extra convention opportunities! - Here are some extra convention opportunities. Conventions are optional but encouraged for extra training!

Innovate Dance Event! The Innovate Dance Event is a yearly event that all teams participate in (except for Mini Team). It will be held 1/27-29. All of our GROUPS will be participating on SUNDAY, 1/29. We also have an optional solo/duet/trio night. This is a GREAT way for your child to get some stage experience and professional feedback before our competition season starts.
Friday night solo/duet/trio night is $100 for one routine and 2 master classes. Add on dances (additional solos/duets) are $30. Sunday group day will be approximately 9AM-5PM, and the fee has already been figured into your monthly balanced billing.

Revive Extra convention/competition - Our Company team will be doing this Convention and Competition, and it is open to solos/duets/trios as an optional competition. Please note this is early December. Most costumes will not be in, so you likely will need a plan B for your costume. Also, the convention is REQUIRED to do the competition. Sign up HERE
Competition Parent-Child dance! - it's here! The much anticipated information! Cost: $20/month per couple. $350/competition fees (covers all competitions). Competition fees spread out from Jan-May ($70/month).
Kick-off choreo day:Saturday, 10/15 from 9:00am-11:00am Start practices on Friday, November 4th - then every other week from Fridays 5:30-6:15 Sign up HERE

Guest teacher lessons 10/1 - stay tuned, we might have a guest teacher on 10/1 doing private lessons!
Boo Bash -10/29! - We are SO excited for our first annual "Boo Bash" Halloween party. This is a community event and we would like as many hands helping as possible!

We would like all dancers in Junior Team, Junior Troupe, Teen Troupe, Senior Troupe, and Company to help out at the event (you can use the hours as volunteer for NHS or NHSDA). Please sign up on the form above if you will be participating.
Younger teams can rotate being at their trunk and going into the studio to do the fun activities! BIG PRIZES for the trunk winner!!!
Studio travel! 2023 is a travel year for DF!! We are offering 2 optional trips. LA in July (TBD) for ages 13-up (or very close to age 13). This will be a trip to take master classes at several LA dance studios.
Disney over MEA! - trip open to dancers ages 7-up (7 in October 2023). We dance on the Disney stage and take a fun master class with Disney staff. Each trip is approximately $1100/person (both chaperones and dancers). Please complete the below surveys if you are potentially interested in these trips.
