9-6-2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates!

Happy first day of school! I hope your morning was great:) I sent Clara off to her last first day of school :(
Dance officially starts on Monday, September 12th! We can't wait!!
Don't forget about the NEW parent meeting on 9/7 at 7PM.
Nationals rooms - If you have not booked a room in Wisconsin Dells for Nationals, it's a good idea to do that now. The host hotel, the Kalahari, is sold out at this time. I would suggest booking across the street at the Great Wolf Lodge. Dates are 6/14-18. It's likely unless your child has several dances, that you won't be there all of these days.
Trainee date 9/24 - I will be putting some lessons on the calendar for privates on Sat. 9/24 for our trainee lessons. You can book your dancer with one of our amazing trainees! Stay tuned.
Trainee meetingReminder, I will be meeting with the new trainees on Thursday 9/8 at 6:00.
Studio travel! 2023 is a travel year for DF!! We are offering 2 optional trips. LA in July (TBD) for ages 13-up (or very close to age 13). This will be a trip to take master classes at several LA dance studios.
Disney over MEA! - trip open to dancers ages 7-up (7 in October 2023). We dance on the Disney stage and take a fun master class with Disney staff. Each trip is approximately $1100/person (both chaperones and dancers). Please complete the below surveys if you are potentially interested in these trips.
Fall Team pictures- will be 9/6 and 9/7 in the evening. The schedule was posted on Band.
Flexability Class- don't throw away all of that hard work you did with the FlexAbility class all summer! This is a progressive class that moves kids up by levels as they complete exercises. Increase your flexibility and achieve those skills you have always wanted to do!

Ignite custom costumes - Ignite in Chanhassen makes beautiful custom costumes. They are available to make solo/duet/trio costumes this year. I am attaching their tiered pricing for you to take a look at. If you are interested in this option, talk to your dancer's solo teacher. They will help come up with a general idea, then meet with the staff at Ignite to design the costume.
