1/10/2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates

Hello parents,

I hope you are staying warm this weekend!

The countdown is ON! A little over 3 weeks until Innovate, 4 weeks until rehearsal, and a little over 5 until Nuvo, 6 until our all competition team competition! So exciting!!

Covid protocol - I am now folloiwng the CDC guidelines for covid. Please refer to THIS if your child is sick or has a family exposure - 

Tights/accessories/makeup requirement - HERE are the requirements per team for tights and accessories. HERE is the info about make up for this year. Please note we are changing the make up this year, but you can use your old make up. 

Lipstick will be separate from the make up kid and can be found HERE. Color is Androgyny

Private acro lessons: HERE is a sign up sheet for private acro lessons with Miss Steph!

Innovate merchandise PRE-ORDER (just for DF families) - If you have been to Innovate before, you know that the merchandise goes FAST! There will be an opportunity to pre-order merchandise until 1/10 on THIS form. 

Innovate waiver- HERE. Innovate is coming! All DF groups with the exception of our Mini Team will be attending this convention on 1/30 (Sunday) at the Hyatt Regency downtown Mpls. Please sign and return the above waiver by 1/15! You can scan and print out, or send back to me via email.

Masks - I am HIGHLY RECOMMENDING masking at the studio now that we are heading into our season. You all pay a lot of money for competition fees/costumes, and with so many Covid cases currently, I do not any dancer to miss out on a performance, convention, or competition. That would be devastating! I am not going to mandate anything at this point, but I highly highly recommend masking at the studio for everyone. We want our dancers at EVERY performance and competition!

injuries- just a quick word about injuries. I hope that everyone was able to get healthy over break! Dancers will need to be dancing 100% 2-3 weeks before each performance to be able to compete. This is a safety precaution for everyone. We need time to re-do formations if a dancer will be out due to injury. This will give us enough time to do that. Thanks for your understanding!

Eva Igo lessons - 1/23 9AM-1PM- Eva will be back doing private lessons. $50/session for 30 minutes. Sign up HERE

Banuet Monthly classes - We only have Gabriela 1 more time this season! She will then be back in the summer.  Cost is $70 for 2 hours. Sign up HERE

DVD’s of the Holiday show -are at the front desk if you ordered one.

Shoes - All shoes have been picked out by the teachers, and the lists are in the studio store. Please make sure your child has the correct shoes for class.

5 and 10 year students- Is your dancer celebrating their 5th or 10th year of dance? Our 5 year dancers receive a special plaque at the recital, and our 10 year dancers do a special routine and open each show! Please fill out THIS form if your dancer is celebrating one of these special milestones.
