2/20/2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates

Hello parents,

I hope you are having a great weekend!

Congratulations to our Company teams and solos/duets that participated at Nuvo this weekend! Everyone looked fabulous!

It's COMPETITION WEEK!!! Yay! Zina will be sending out the Competition Handbook, as well as the Trophy assignments this week. Also, just a reminder that all students need to be able to participate 100% in class this week in order to compete. 

Spirit Week - It's DF Spirit Week!!!! Wear your DF colors! The team with the most spirit will win treats next week!!!

Weekend private lessons/small groups - With competitions coming up taking up our weekends, we will be trying to run small groups occasionally during the week on breaks or in classes. For solos/duets, if your child's teacher cannot fit in make up classes, I would suggest checking out The Movement in White Bear Lake. This is a boutique studio that does primarily private lessons. They charge between $35-50 per 30 minute lesson. It's a great option!

Intensive Week classes - Correction on the dates - Intensive Week is 5/23-26 (not July). I will update the teacher list next week!!

Summer session packets will be handed out this week. Classes will be online by Tuesday.

NEW CLASS! Dance Cirque Circus class - Ages 6-9 and 10-up. Students will learn to use aerial silks, juggling, hoop, and lyra. We will also incorporate flexibility and balance.

Nutrition - with the busy competition season coming up, please encourage healthy eating/drinking. The week leading up to the competition is very important! Hydrate and grab a few extra fruit and veggies. Attached is the nutrition plan we had put together for our studio last y
