2/28/2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates

Hello parents!

We are back to full marathon competition weekends! I never thought I would be happy about having the "competition hangover!" Feels great to be back to a normal format. GREAT JOB to everyone-you killed it out there! The teachers and I SEE ALL OF OUR STUDENTS! You performed your hearts out and we are so so proud of you.

Next up - Act 1 for optional solos/duets/trios and all small groups. Can't wait!

Recital Parent/Child routine - Do you want to dance with your child at the recital? This is our recital-only Parent-Child dance. Practices will be:
March 19th 
April 2nd 
April 16 
May 7th 

11:00-11:45AM

Cost is $25/couple

10 year students - You will be opening all of our shows on recital day!!! Your practices will be from 11:45-12:30PM on 3/19, 4/2, 4/16, and 5/7.

15 year students? - are there any 15 year dancers out there? If so, please email me to let me know! Spring Break week - 3/7-13- NO CLASSES! Since so many districts have a similar spring break this year, we will not be having classes the week of 3/7-13. We WILL have production on 3/6 for those who are in town. You can certainly schedule private lessons for solo/duet/trio’s if your teacher is available. NEW CLASS! Dance Cirque Circus class - Ages 6-9 and 10-up. Students will learn to use aerial silks, juggling, hoop, and lyra. We will also incorporate flexibility and balance. Registration is OPEN! Competition Audition Camp and Intensive Week - These are up on the website for you to register for! Summer packets will officially go out in 2 weeks, but if you want to get a head start on your summer planning, you may register NOW for Audition camp and Intensive week and SAVE. Early Bird discounts run through 3/31.

Intensive Week is a GREAT way for your dancer to get their required summer hours in. It will be 5/23-26 and include many guest teachers!

Monday: Cori Stupak contemporary, teacher 2 and 3 TBD

Tuesday: Tap (TBD), teacher 2 and 3 TBD

Wednesday: Eva Igo lyrical, Charliz Balicao jazz, Katie Peyton strength

Thursday: Kaylee Fandre jazz, Shawn Vue hip hop, Taylor Huber ballet
