8/30/2022 Staff Updates

Hello staff!

Great meeting last week!! Here is a little recap:

*Steph created a staff HUB on the DF website. If you missed the meeting, it is located on the website on the staff page. Please look over the documents so you know where everything is. Password is Love2dance!

*Enrollment goals - Right now we are at 348 students! Our staff goal is 375 - totally doable by 12/31! We are up 50 students from this time last year. Staff reward (dinner, spa?) when we hit 375!

*Our staff theme this year is “Leading with Love.” Think of ways YOU can lead with love this year.

*We reviewed the yearly calendar- please review this on the HUB

*Holiday recital-tentatively scheduled for 12/12. Possible themes:

“A December to Remember”

“Holiday Hoedown”

“An Evening of Merrymaking”

“A Not So Silent Night”

“Holly Jolly Holiday”

“Dancing in a Winter Wonderland”

Thoughts?

*Kayla has the music doc and music folders on Google. Please fill them out when you know your songs! She has also assigned Holiday show dances to everyone. Take a look to see what you are responsible for.

*Please keep the workspaces clean in the rooms. This includes the tables (put stuff away!), and stacking the mats on the shelves. I bought step stools for each room so you can easily stack stuff or have your assistants/kids do it.

*Costume ordering per Shelly, form is on the HUB, but she still needs one printed out as well as if you fill it out electronically.

*Syd will be putting monthly goals together for jazz tech, make sure you follow them!

*We will be putting on a Community “Boo Bash” for Halloween on 10/29. If you are interested in helping us plan, more info will be sent out soon and you can sign up to help/work!

*Please read over the updated “Behavior/Expectation” policy on the HUB.

*Our Spring recital theme is “Legends.” Please try to pick music that aligns with the theme.

Leadership team - please go into rhythm calendar to mark off your tasks! :)
