1/24/2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates

Hello parents!

I hope you stayed warm this weekend.

It’s Innovate week!! We are so excited to get our routines on stage. Please note - this is a performance week, which means (unless you have Covid) you need to be IN PERSON at class fully participating in order to perform on Friday/Sunday. Let me know if you have any questions:)

Covid updates for Innovate - The dancers will need to wear masks in the common areas of the hotel, in addition to our classes at Innovate. They will NOT have to wear them on stage. Because we are not requiring proof of vaccination for our event, the hotel cannot provide water stations for us. PLEASE SEND YOUR DANCER WITH 2-3 FULL WATER BOTTLES!. The other option would be to have them purchase a water bottle at the Market To-Go in the lobby.

Please send your dancer with a ZIPLOCK BAG LABELED WITH THEIR NAME to put their mask in while on stage.

Send your dancer with a lunch AND a snack.

For Friday, if your dancer is in the Orange group that starts at 5:15, you can check in between 4:30-5:00.

Spring recital information - We are so excited for our spring 2022 recital, "Celebrate!" Click on the information HERE for general information, and HERE for specific show times by class.

Dress rehearsal 2/4-5. We are busy tweaking the schedule for next weekend. We should have it out later this week. Dress rehearsal is at Stillwater Middle School.

HERE is a hair tutorial for how we would like the buns made this year. Everyone needs a HAIRNET over the bun. The make up tutorial is on our website under Current Students, then Competition Information.

HERE is the list of hair/make up requirements by class.

DF Sleepover - I'm sure most of you have assumed this already, but the DF sleepover again has been cancelled due to Covid. We just can't risk it! Hoping for a comeback in 2023!

No Sunday practices due to Innovate on 1/30!

Have a wonderful week!

Jennifer
